Where world-class tennis meets world-changing impact on Necker Island
Welcome to the Necker Cup, Sir Richard Branson’s private pro-am tennis tournament on Necker Island, where Grand Slam champions, visionary entrepreneurs, and global changemakers come together for five days of sport, connection, and shared purpose.
Held November 30 to December 5, the 14th edition will welcome Juan Martín del Potro, Dominic Thiem, and Mike Bryan to the island’s courts. But beyond the matches, what continues to define the Necker Cup is its mission, using tennis as a platform to raise meaningful funds for youth education and global development initiatives around the world.

Life on Island Time
Days on Necker Island move at their own pace. Mornings might begin with sunrise yoga, a guided nature walk, or a match before breakfast. Others head straight to the water for sailing races, kitesurfing, or a relaxed paddleboard along the reef. There’s time for golf at Nail Bay, quiet lunches by the beach, or a visit with Necker’s famously curious lemurs.
There’s no fixed schedule, but every day offers something memorable, often in the form of a conversation that starts courtside and turns into something lasting. The Necker Cup is as much about relationships as it is about tennis, with natural opportunities to connect across industries, passions, and continents.
As the sun sets, the island shifts into a different rhythm. This year, Andrea Bocelli will perform a private concert under the stars, an intimate highlight in a week that already blends culture, connection, and celebration.

Where Purpose Meets Play
Since its inception, the Necker Cup has raised over $8 million in support of charitable partners including Virgin Unite, the National Tennis Foundation, and grassroots programs that use tennis to expand access to education, mentorship, and opportunity.
Throughout the week, guests are invited to engage in the giving process, through spirited auctions, thoughtful dialogue, and simply showing up with intention. The impact is personal, often direct, and deeply felt.
The experience culminates in a final evening: a beautifully hosted charity dinner and auction, followed by the island’s iconic End of the World Party. It’s a joyful close to a week defined by generosity, shared purpose, and lasting connection.

Looking Ahead
For those who value experiences that go beyond the expected, the Necker Cup offers a rare mix of sport, meaning, and community, set in one of the most extraordinary places in the world.
