Evening on Antique Row, now in its 31st year, returns on April 11, 2026, bringing together art, design, and community in a setting that feels both festive and distinctly refined.

Hosted by the Young Friends of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, the event is led by chair Natalie Smith, immediate past chair Grace Walker, and vice chair Collin “Santini” Adams. It supports the organization’s mission to preserve South Florida’s history while funding educational programs for future generations.

For one night, six blocks of the West Palm Beach Art & Design District becomes entirely pedestrian. South Dixie Highway closes between Monroe Drive and Southern Boulevard, allowing guests to move freely between the area’s celebrated galleries, antique shops, and design studios.

More than 40 merchants open their doors late, offering a rare opportunity to explore curated collections spanning the 17th through 20th centuries. Internationally collected contemporary artist Cayla Birk returns May 1–3 with Bodega Birk., a three-day exhibition at 1500 Elizabeth Ave that transforms the venue into a vibrant contemporary corner store.

Now celebrating a decade as a working artist, Birk has built an international following through bold conceptual painting and immersive exhibition design, with past shows spanning Miami, Atlanta, Palm Beach, London, and Los Angeles. Her work has appeared at Art Miami during Art Basel Miami Beach for nine consecutive years, and her collectors include names such as Julia Stewart, Linda O’Leary, Jake Paul, and Emma Roberts.

With Bodega Birk., that global perspective is translated into something distinctly local.

The exhibition unfolds as a high-energy weekend structured around the rhythm of a working bodega. Kahan’s presentation brings together Sonia Delaunay’s color innovation, Sam Francis and Paul Jenkins’ expressive abstraction, and Alexander Calder’s sense of movement, creating what she describes as a cohesive narrative.

“They create a compelling booth story: European color innovation meeting American abstraction, with Calder adding joyful kinetic energy. The common thread is vibrant color and movement on paper. They are works that are historically significant, visually magnetic, and market-friendly.”

Highlights include Pablo Picasso’s 1934 etching Marie-Thérèse en Femme Torero II alongside monotypes and watercolors by Sam Francis, offering collectors works that feel both historically grounded and immediately engaging.

Opening in late 2026, the boutique private club will center around sport and social life, with an 80-foot lap pool, premium tennis, pickleball and padel courts including a custom enclosed padel pavilion, landscaped grounds and an event lawn. The clubhouse, designed by Spina O’Rourke + Partners and Ward + Gray, will house culinary programming from the team behind Lamarina and Cucina.

Rather than a traditional members-only enclave, Court Club is being positioned as a modern lifestyle anchor with family programming, tournaments and community events built into its foundation.

NDT’s next phase also brings housing into the equation.

Groundbreaking is scheduled for early 2026 on a 12-story luxury rental building introducing approximately 350 residences, including loft-style units and three-story townhomes with private garages. Fifty-two units will be designated as affordable housing, integrating broader access into the district’s growth.

Residents will have access to a fifth-floor pool terrace, rooftop fitness wing, pickleball courts, cold plunge pool, coworking spaces, summer kitchen lounges and a dog run terrace.
