Few figures have shaped modern beauty quite like Bobbi Brown. The legendary makeup artist built her reputation on a simple but revolutionary idea: makeup should enhance natural beauty rather than mask it. When she launched a collection of ten natural-shade lipsticks in the early 1990s, the beauty industry shifted almost overnight. What followed was the creation of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, a global brand later acquired by Estée Lauder, along with a series of best-selling books that redefined how women think about beauty, confidence and self-expression.
Today Brown continues to reinvent the conversation. Through her newer venture Jones Road Beauty, a clean cosmetics brand rooted in simplicity and skin-first formulas, she has once again tapped into a cultural moment, connecting authentically with a wide and often overlooked demographic of women who value effortless, wearable beauty.

This March, Palm Beach audiences will have the opportunity to hear directly from the beauty pioneer during a special book talk at the newly opened Glazer Hall at The Royal Poinciana Plaza. On Thursday, March 19 at 7 pm, Brown will appear in conversation with the Palm Beach-based duo behind the viral media brand Excuse My Grandma, granddaughter Kim Murstein and her grandmother Gail Rudnick. With nearly two million followers across platforms, the pair has built a devoted multi-generational audience through candid conversations about dating, relationships, family dynamics and modern womanhood.
The evening promises a lively dialogue between generations, blending Brown’s decades of industry insight with the humor and cultural perspective that have made Excuse My Grandma a social media phenomenon.

Beyond the stage, Brown will also host two appearances at Jones Road Palm Beach, currently operating from its temporary location at 114 North County Road while its permanent on Royal Poinciana undergoes renovation. On Tuesday, March 10 at 10 am, she will lead an intimate beauty masterclass, followed later in the month by a book signing for her newest release, Still Bobbi, on Friday, March 27 at 10 am.

For long time admirers and new fans alike, the events offer a rare opportunity to connect with a woman whose influence continues to shape the beauty industry more than three decades after she first introduced the now iconic “no makeup makeup” philosophy. Brown’s newest book, Still Bobbi: A Master Class in Resilience and Reinvention, reflects on that journey in full. Her first memoir traces the path from working makeup artist to founder of a billion-dollar cosmetics brand, and the bold decision to step away and build something new with Jones Road Beauty at age 59. Blending personal storytelling with hard-earned business insight, the book explores themes of authenticity, resilience and the freedom that can come from starting again.
