Polo with a View of the Alps

Perched amongst the rolling, green hills, lies a flat valley in Saanen steps away from Gstaad, the famed jet-set destination, where the world renowned Hublot Polo Gold Cup is held annually. The international Hublot Polo Gold Cup has established itself as an unmissable summer event held in the prestigious resort in the Bernese Alps. This event captures the attention of spectators worldwide, bringing together affluent people such as Alan Roura, Tanguy Nef and Marc Ferrero in past years.

 

The Winners of the Hublot Polo Gold Cup 2022

This year four teams will compete for the grand prize of a Hublot timepiece. The teams have been announced as Team Hublot (Schroder DE, Correa ARG, Gonzalez ARG, Aguerre Jr. ARG), Team Kielder Agro Group (Schweri CH, Novaes BRA, Astelarra ARG, Menedez ARG), Team Gstaad Palace (Cromm DE, Charlton ENG, Maiquez ARG, Emlyn ENG) and Team Gstaad (Le Page FRA, Kelly ARG, Fucci ARG, Laplacette ARG).

This spectacular event will take place over the course of four days (August 17-20). Thursday, Saturday and Sunday will consist of six games, two on each day. Friday is reserved for the beautiful team parades through the streets of Gstaad. Don’t miss the VIP reservation opportunities as well. Saturday and Sunday there will be VIP lunches held in the VIP tent which also includes access to seating on the VIP terrace, ensuring a marvelous view of the field. The lunch will be served buffet style, prepared by the Gstaad Palace. Gala Night will be held on Saturday evening. Fine dining prepared by the Gstaad Palace will be served in the VIP tent. The Gala Night ticket will also include access to the Gstaad Palace where there will be a DJ and dance floor organized by GreeGo.

After spectating the captivating games, the fun keeps on going. The village of Gstaad offers incredible dining, market stalls, opportunities to meet the players and a playground for the children.  Explore Gstaad and indulge in the locals’ favorite dining spots. If you are seeking an authentic and charming experience, look no further than The Olden, located on the promenade. Café du Cerf in Rougemont is another great option and the perfect spot to try the infamous Swiss raclette.
