September may signal a quieter season in South Florida, but at the table, things are just getting started. Flavor South Florida Restaurant Month returns with special menus across Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast, giving diners a reason to revisit longtime favorites, discover new openings, and venture beyond their usual reservations.

Established in 2007, Florida’s largest and longest-running monthlong dining promotion brings together hundreds of participating restaurants each September, with prix fixe lunch, brunch, and dinner menus starting at $25.

Behind the dining deals is a larger mission. September is traditionally one of the slowest months of the year for South Florida restaurants, and Flavor South Florida was created to bring diners through their doors during a time when that support can make a meaningful difference.

New Tables to Try

This year, 33 newcomers join the Restaurant Month lineup, offering plenty of reasons to make a few new reservations.

In Delray Beach, participating newcomers include CAMPI Italian, Gabriella’s Modern Italian, Lulu’s, Geronimo Tequila Bar, Novecento, and Barcelona Wine Bar. West Palm Beach adds several of its newest dining destinations, including Eataly at CityPlace, Del Mar, Lynora’s, Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar, and Osteria by Capri.

Farther north, celebrity chef David Burke’s SeaHawk Prime joins the promotion in Lake Park, while Singer Island welcomes Buccaneer Waterfront Bar & Grill, Ocean Ave Bar & Kitchen, and Ayre at Amrit Ocean Resort.

The newcomers join returning favorites including Café Boulud, Henry’s Palm Beach, 1000 NORTH, Blackbird Modern Asian, Café Chardonnay, Dada, Ke’e Grill, Driftwood, and Kyle G’s Prime Seafood & Steaks.

With everything from Italian and French to Asian, Greek, American, and coastal cuisine represented, the month is less about finding one perfect reservation and more about trying somewhere you might otherwise have overlooked.

Beyond Restaurant Month

While September remains its signature event, Flavor South Florida has grown into a year-round connection between the region’s restaurants and the people who love them.

Private dinners, special events, editorial features, and conversations with local chefs continue throughout the year. Its newest extension, the podcast Forking Around with Flavor South Florida, takes listeners behind the scenes of the local hospitality industry through conversations with chefs and culinary personalities, including many whose restaurants are participating in Restaurant Month.

The podcast is sponsored by Altima Caviar, bringing two locally rooted culinary brands together around a shared appreciation for South Florida’s evolving dining scene.

Make a Reservation

Restaurant Month offers a particularly good excuse to finally book the place that has been sitting on your list, return to the neighborhood table you already love, or discover a chef whose restaurant might become your next regular stop.

And this September, dining out does a little more than satisfy a craving. Every reservation supports the restaurants, chefs, and hospitality teams that keep South Florida’s culinary scene thriving throughout the year.
