A great Hamptons visit is rarely about one destination. It’s a collection of rituals. Morning coffee in East Hampton, long lunches in Sag Harbor, sunset rosé in Sagaponack, and dinners that stretch well into the evening.

Whether you’re planning a weekend escape or settling in for the season, consider this your Altima-approved guide to the Hamptons.

Tutto Caffè

A natural extension of the beloved Tutto il Giorno family, Tutto Caffè has quickly become a favorite East Hampton stop for everything from a morning espresso to an afternoon aperitivo. Organic coffees, Italian pastries, paninis, wine, and cocktails are served in a stylish indoor-outdoor setting that feels distinctly European while remaining effortlessly Hamptons.

La Goulue Sur Mer

Palm Beach’s iconic French bistro has officially made itself at home in Southampton. Opened in 2025, La Goulue Sur Mer brings the timeless Parisian fare and polished hospitality of its New York and Palm Beach counterparts to the East End. Set within the former Red Bar space, the restaurant brings coastal ease with classic French charm.

Baker House 1650

Part historic landmark, part luxury retreat, Baker House remains one of East Hampton’s most distinctive destinations. Dating back to the earliest days of the village, the property combines old-world architecture with modern comforts, offering guests a uniquely intimate place to stay, unwind at the spa, or host special gatherings throughout the season.

Wölffer Estate Vineyard

Few destinations feel more synonymous with a Hamptons summer than Wölffer Estate. Set among rolling vineyards in Sagaponack, the winery offers tastings, live music, and sunset gatherings that have become seasonal rituals for visitors and locals alike. Whether enjoying a glass on the terrace or dining at nearby Wölffer Kitchen, it remains one of the East End’s defining experiences.

Le Bilboquet

For many Manhattan regulars, Le Bilboquet’s Sag Harbor outpost has become a summer institution. Situated along the marina, the restaurant delivers its signature lively energy, rosé-filled afternoons, fresh seafood, and late-night music. Whether arriving by boat or bicycle, the atmosphere feels closer to St. Tropez than Long Island.

Mary Lou’s

The Palm Beach nightlife favorite returns to Montauk for it’s second summer season, bringing its signature mix of glamour, energy, and late-night revelry to the East End. Part restaurant, part cocktail destination, Mary Lou’s is best experienced after dark, when the crowd settles in and the evening takes on a life of its own. With its theatrical interiors, lively atmosphere, and unmistakable sense of occasion, it has quickly become one of Montauk’s most sought-after reservations.

Barlume Beach

New to many summer itineraries, Barlume Beach channels the spirit of a Mediterranean beach club along Montauk Harbor. Combining a boutique hotel, marina, and waterfront dining destination, the property effortlessly transitions from relaxed afternoons by the water to lively evenings that stretch long after sunset.

As another East End season begins, these are the places we’ll be visiting, revisiting, and recommending along the way.
